Mr. A. Russell De Zilva has been an integral part of the renewable energy arm of the Vallibel Group of Companies since 2002 and currently serves as the Joint Chief Executive Officer of Vallibel Power Erathna PLC. With effect from 3 October 2025, he has been appointed as a Non-Independent Director and Chief Executive Officer of Laugfs Power PLC. Over the years, he has held multiple key roles within the organization, contributing significantly to its growth and technological advancement.

With a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, holding both a B.Sc. (Hons) and a Postgraduate Diploma, Mr. De Zilva has played a pivotal role in pioneering and implementing core technologies across the Group’s renewable energy portfolio, which spans hydro, wind, and solar power.

He has taken a lead role in the operational management of renewable energy assets, as well as the design and development of grid connected renewable energy projects. Mr. De Zilva also brings specialized expertise in the planning and implementation of floating solar PV systems, positioning Vallibel at the forefront of innovation in sustainable power generation.

Mr. De Zilva’s deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and long-standing commitment have helped establish Vallibel as a recognized leader in Sri Lanka’s renewable energy and infrastructure landscape.
