Vallibel Power Erathna PLC for the consecutive year was able to win an award from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka who conducted the “Annual Report Award Ceremony 2012”.
Year 2011 Vallibel Power Erathna PLC won the Bronze Award in the Service Sector Companies Category. We are proud to announce that this year we were able to beat the other competitors in the field and secured the first place winning the Gold Award presented to the Power and Energy Companies Category. 124 companies participated to the competition representing various sectors. This year was competitive while number of applications was exceeded from 98 applications received for last year for all sectors.
The event was held for the 48th time at Waters Edge, Battaramulla and the ceremony was graced by Mr. Ajith Nivard Cabral, Governor of Central Bank of Sri Lanka as the Chief Guest.
